Beth Sise is responsible for trauma research, and violence and injury prevention programs for the public at Scripps Mercy Hospital-San Diego Trauma Service. She received her B.S. in Nursing from the University of Rochester, M.S. in Nursing from the University of San Diego, and her Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of California San Diego, School of Medicine. A licensed attorney, she earned her J.D. degree from the University of San Diego, School of Law. She co-chairs the Community Health Improvement Partners (CHIP) Suicide Prevention Action Plan Committee and she’s actively involved in the leadership of the San Diego County Methamphetamine Strike Force. On the national level, in 2003, Ms. Sise coordinated the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy State of the City – San Diego Project. She is the recipient of the University of San Diego Career Achievement Award, the Ninth District PTA Honorary Service Award, the CHIP Outstanding Community Partner Award, and the National
Conflict Resolution Center’s Peacemaker Award.
